If you're referring to the brightness of the orthophoto in X-Plane: It is affected by HDR and dynamic lighting (time of day, light sources, shadows, haze/fog etc.) and has most likely nothing to do with any gamma settings (as long as they are left at their defaults).Try disabling "Draw Shadows on scenery" and HDR (Visual Effect slider). I think it was possible on XP10 as far as I remember but it would be great if anyone shows us some light. I used the above tutorial, the same tutorial that's in the original post of this thread.Īctually, this is caused during the set up of the G2XPL, it is to do with the Gama which is in the ini file, you can alter it to make it darker or lighter as is shown on the sample you uploaded. I've created a tile and it looks great, but there are areas covered with sparse trees, where there shouldn't be any trees. ![]()
